Overview

The 5D process consists of 5 phases for a project. The benefit is that the end result meets or exceeds your expectations and does so within the time & budget.

Discover

In the first phase of any project we meet with all the stakeholders to discuss and document the overall objectives of the project including budgets, concepts, and business goals. This phase allows our team to crystallize the vision and develop the strategic scope necessary for the next phase.

The Discover & Define phases are the most critical to the success of any project.

Define

Once we’ve all agreed on the strategic objectives of the project our team then produces a set of requirements, functions, creative briefs and specifications. These documents are critical to the next phase, the design process.

This step allows realistic budgets to be clearly defined.

Design

With well thought out specs, creative briefs and requirements, our designers have the information needed to design the elements of the project and do so in a way that meets expectations and reduces the number of redesigns.

This is where typical projects fall off the rails and miss expectations. Our process ensures we meet your expectations.

Develop

At this stage, we typically see a lot of momentum which reduces time and cost. With the functional specs & design complete the development phase is much more straight forward. Once any required testing is complete, we’re ready to go live!

Deploy

With everything in hand the major effort of the deployment can be focused on getting your project to market. But first public contact is critical so a well thought out deployment plan is essential to achieve a great first impression.
