SteamboatPics.com – a New Site

www.Steamboatpics.com

For the longest time I’ve wanted to create a space for my photos that I own & control. Online services like Flickr are great for some things like reaching other photographers but they don’t offer the level of presentation & extensibility of a full website site.

Here’s a new e-Book that’s flying around the interwebs and for good reason. Over 70 incredible business people & authors have come together to create an e-Book of short but powerful essays.

As most of us begin to think about New Year’s resolutions this is a terrific primer to that process. For example, I read the whole thing then printed out certain essays that were  most impactful to me.

I promise this will help you think in ways to help you & your organization move forward.

The PDF is free & you can view it in the embedded Scribd player below (click “Full Screen”) or you can download it here.

wls-logosmallThis Friday we’ll be showing off some great art from WeLoveSteamboat.com for the Art Walk downtown. Sotheby’s will be hosting the event featuring some great photography from Lynne Garell, Joan Ryan, Alexa Nachweih, and yours truly. This is a really interesting event because it takes elements from social media and introduces them to a whole new audience. It’s also really cool to see what amateurs can do to show how awesome Steamboat is.

Hope to see you there!

Where: Sotheby’s office on Lincoln (Between Beaujo’s Pizza & the Chinese place downtown)

When: This Friday, 6pm till??

Merry Christmas From at&t

In case you haven’t heard, at&t now offers official wireless service here in Steamboat. I’ve had at&t for the past year and a half with no coverage problems.

So take some of that Christmas cash and go get an iPhone.

UPDATE: Walmart is now selling the iPhone. Not sure if it’s available here yet.

Just Born!

The new Altera website has just been born.Baby

www.alteragroup.com

As with any site it’s a work in progress but we’re glad to have it up. There’s free stuff as well as info on our various services.

I hid an easter egg on the site. It’s a secret page that’s not in the normal navigation. Whoever finds it gets a Starbucks on me.
