WordPress Workshop (free) Plus 10 Ways to Use WP for Your Business

They say the first step in addiction recovery is to admit you have a problem. So ok, I’m admitting it, I’m a WordPress junkie. But I’m a WP junkie for good reason.

Me & Matt Mulleneweg, Founder of WordPress

Never in 17+ years in the web biz have I seen a platform with as much to offer any business of any size. I’ve been developing on the WordPress platform for over 5 years and I’m just stunned at the progression, flexibility and opportunity this platform provides. I’m a WP junkie and I think you should be too.

If any aspect of your marketing touches the web you should be using WordPress. WordPress is an incredible platform that’s gained tremendous traction over the past few years.
Let’s look at some facts:

  • WordPress is the #1 open-source Content Management System in the world
  • WordPress.com has more than 30 million accounts.
  • Microsoft just closed it’s blogging service and migrated millions of accounts to WordPress.com
  • WordPress is free.
  • More freelance jobs are being done on WordPress than any other platform.
  • Major companies like NTY, eBay, Time, Mashable.com, techCrunch.com and CNN all use WordPress

Interested? I hope so.
The fact is, you can out-distance your competitors, connect with customers and make more money using WordPress.

WordPress Workshop Details

So here’s the deal, I’m hosting a free WordPress workshop to help businesses get started with WordPress or make better use of the site(s) they already have.
This workshop is for you if:
* Your business is on the web but know your site could be better
* You’ve never used WordPress and want to get started
* You’ve been using WordPress but know you could be using it better
* You have an existing site but your online marketing needs have grown

While I’m still working on the agenda some topics will be:
* Why WordPress is better than other solutions
* How WordPress can help and business even if you already have a website
* Proven techniques using WordPress to enhance sales
* Why WordPress is GREAT for getting your site to the top of Google
Tentative Timeframe is late April

The workshop will be about 2 hours and you’ll leave with a clear understanding of how WordPress can help you make more money and where to start. This will be VERY limited — like 6 to 8 people. If there’s a lot of interest I’ll consider a second session.
